Icecold Refrigeration Limited is a New Zealand family owned and operated business.
Our Engineer has been in the refrigeration and Mechanical industry for over 30 years and has industry qualifications.
Icecold Refrigeration can offer our experience as a service provider within the refrigeration, Air Conditioning, and the process industry.
Icecold Refrigeration can provide technical advice and believe in offering a safe and efficient professional outcome that supports growth, by making the right decisions and providing a high standard of workmanship to our customers.
We have worked within the refrigeration industry from the manufacturing of small light commercial equipment to heavy industrial equipment. We have experience with marine refrigeration, commercial refrigeration and HVAC, domestic refrigeration and HVAC and industrial refrigeration and HVAC and have experience in light engineering and sheet metal work.
Our Engineer has extensive knowledge in screw compressor remanufacturing along with reciprocating compressors for both Freon and ammonia refrigerants. Manufacturers include, but are not limited to: Copeland, Dorin, Carrier, York, Bitzer, Trane, Mycom, Hall and Refcomp.
Our Engineer has full in-house training from the EHS/APV engineering team in process engineering including plate and spiral heat exchangers, fluid transfer pumps, as well as high pressure homogenizing pumps and equipment along with training in the APV food grade valves and actuators.
Icecold Refrigeration has experience in water processing chillers of various sizes, applications, and manufacturers, within New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
Manufacturers include, but are not limited to: Gree, Clivet, Carrier, Trane, York and Clint.

Icecold Refrigeration Ltd endeavours to reduce the impact of its activities on the environment, principally of the detrimental effect of the refrigeration and air conditioning systems it designs, installs, operates, services and maintains.
In particular this includes maximising the energy efficiency and minimising the refrigerant leakage of these systems.
To achieve our environmental objectives we:
- Ensure engineers and technicians are appropriately trained
- Have an easily accessible library of up to date and relevant information which is used by all engineers and technicians
- Equip engineers and technicians with suitable tools
- Implement procedures, designed to reduce environmental impact, which are followed for design, installation, operation, service and maintenance of refrigeration and air conditioning systems;
- Audit our environmental performance and includes sections on refrigerants and energy consumption of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
- Commit to Prevention of Pollution in activities we undertake.
- When undertaking our processes, we will endeavour to protect the Environment wherever possible
- Comply with all relevant Legal and Other (compliance) requirements and regularly review against these.
- Drive continual improvement of the environmental management system through challenging all within the company to be more efficient and effective.
